  4. You could easily get the impression that there is a conspiracy 
  5. to suppress modern information on SSTV.  For example, 
  6.  
  7. * A very popular introductory book about Ham Radio (no names 
  8.   mentioned but it's available at Radio Shack) devotes only a 
  9.   few sentences to SSTV and describes it as 8 second black & white 
  10.   pictures.  It's been nearly all color pictures for many years.
  11.  
  12. * The CQ 1994 Equipment Buyer's Guide lists only two SSTV products 
  13.   and both were discontinued several years ago.
  14.  
  15. It is possible to find modern material on this fascinating topic 
  16. but you need to know where to look.
